KYP centres

KYP centres stand for Kushal Yuva Program centres, a flagship initiative of the Government of Bihar aimed at providing skill development training to the youth in the state. The program was launched in 2016 and is implemented by the Bihar Skill Development Mission (BSDM).

The primary objective of KYP centres is to provide vocational training to the youth in Bihar and enhance their employability. The program is aimed at providing training to school dropouts, unemployed youth, and graduates, focusing on industries such as retail, hospitality, healthcare, and construction.

Under the KYP program, training is provided through a network of training centres, known as Kushal Yuva Program centres, which are set up across the state. These centres have state-of-the-art facilities and are staffed by trained trainers and instructors.

The program offers training in various vocational skills, such as customer care, sales, marketing, hospitality, healthcare, and construction. The training programs are designed to provide theoretical and practical training, focusing on hands-on experience and industry exposure.

After completing the training program, KYP centres provide placement assistance to the trainees and organize job fairs and placement drives to connect them with potential employers. The program also offers entrepreneurship development training to those who wish to start their own businesses.

Overall, KYP centres are an important initiative by the Government of Bihar to provide skill development training to the youth in the state and enhance their employability. The program aims to meet the skill requirements of various industries and sectors and create a skilled workforce in Bihar. We have launched several KYP centres across the state to train the youth and enhance their employability.
